RULES
Detailed UKSC Race Rules (IFSS Rules
Amended) are available from the Secretary or via Email. The principal
definitions are as follows:
| DRIVER |

The person
who drives a dog team entered in the race |
| EVENT |
|
A meeting
of contestants for the purpose of competing in
one event which may involve several classes. |
| HEAT |
|
A
completion of the trail once |
| ORGANIZATION |
|
The body in
charge of running the event. |
| RACE |
|
A
competition in a specified class and may comprise
one or more heats. |
| RACE AREA |
|
All
designated locations for parking, spectators,
team holding, start & finish, officiating and
the trail areas. |
| RACE
MARSHALL |
|
The chief
judge i.e. the person who shall have
supreme authority at an event. The only official
who can decide on disqualification. |
| RACE JUDGE |
|
Rules
enforcement officer who has the same authority as
the Race Marshall except in the
question of disqualification. |

| MAY |
|

NB. Masculine terms
include feminine. In the case of discrepancy between
general and special rules the special rules shall
prevail. Rules apply to all classes.
